Retina, the nerve layer that senses light and transmits the image to the brain. The eye is like a camera, the retina being located in the front part of the eye lens focuses the light.The disease that occurs in the retina directly threatens our sense of sight. Early diagnosis, preventive treatment and the right surgical intervention if needed is vital.
